1. Confirm compatibility and carrier lock
Check that the phone can add an eSIM and confirm with the original carrier that the device is unlocked.
2. Install while you have reliable internet
Save the QR code and instructions, then install over stable Wi-Fi. If activation must happen at the destination, leave the data line disabled until arrival.
3. Keep your usual number
Keep the original SIM enabled for messages, disable its data roaming and assign mobile data to the travel eSIM.
4. Prepare an offline backup
Save the order, support channel and manual APN details. If service fails after arrival, check the data line, roaming switch and APN in that order.
